Story of The Perfect Us
The storyline of this book is Avantika, an investment banker who is equally good at math and attracting guys' attention.
She is the picture of beauty with intelligence and does fairly well in her career.
She meets Deb in college and develops a romantic interest in him. They never expected to be a couple, yet they nonetheless fell deeply in love with each other.
About Deb, he is a former corporate employee who now writes scripts for ordinary daily shops after failing badly as a writer. He doesn't have a great physique, and day by day his financial situation is also getting worse.
He excels at one thing in good - loving Avantika. And Avantika actually requires that.
They have been together for ten years, against all odds, and have done well so far. But that will change.
Deb is simply not ready, while Avantika has recently been craving children. However, Deb was thinking that the two of them are perfect and there is no space for anyone else in their life.

Learnings
We were truly able to learn through this book that there is perfection within every one of our flaws. Although we strive for perfection our entire lives, we never realize that perfection has always been a part of us.
While there are countless romance fairy tales that will show you everything as pink and perfect as Disneyland, The Perfect Us digs deeper and shows reality.
This is a fiction book and still, you can feel the real-life issues that every couple face. Especially while taking their important life decisions.
This one has everything you could possibly want to read about. From getting married to eventually getting married and preparing to have a child, both characters have come a long way.
